Everything arrived well packaged and in one piece, and I was able to get right down to it. There's always some learning curve with a new tool, but between the kit and all the instruction available through the website I expect things to go pretty smoothly.

My first intro to the PPT was at a course run by Curtis at Steadfast Farm (at the original location!). I could already see the merits back then but my Farm was new, small and we had lots of irregular beds, so I put it off. Now, we have grown our production area and more of our beds are standard size. I decided to invest because I know it's going to save me so much time and effort, pain on my (not so young anymore) body and in the long term, labor costs (I'm in CA).
Other benefits I didn't foresee were in organisation and seed germination. By this I mean, we were previously more ad hoc with our seeding and the PPT system encouraged us to be focused and organized in our approach. As a result, we are more efficient and effective. Our seeding area is now more organized and works better for us.
The second surprise was the germination rates - when we use the standard trays, or soil blocking, or direct seeding methods, we often see mixed germination rates, sometimes with only 50% of the tray germinating. Now, using the PPT trays and our more organized approach, we are getting almost 100% germination. I love to see the full trays of seedlings ready to go in the ground, (and knowing that hours of work will now be minutes!)

Prepare Paperpot Trays:

Insert spreader bars into paper chain pots and stretch to fit the spreader frame.
Attach paper chain to frame, remove spreader bars, and flip the tray over the frame.

Fill Trays with Soil:

Pour pre-moistened potting mix over the stretched paper chains.
Spread and lightly tamp the mix to ensure even filling of cells.

Prepare Trays for Seeding:

Align the dibble board with the frame and press down to indent cells.

Set Up Kwik Klik™ Drop Seeder:

Install the bottom plate and top plate according to seed size. Adjust the bottom set screws to ensure proper tension between plates.

Seed Trays:

Pour seeds onto the drop seeder, rotate to fill holes, and align over the tray.
Slide the plate from side to side to drop seeds into cells.

Germination and Watering:

Water trays thoroughly for good germination and maintain the required temperature.
Allow seedlings to grow for the recommended time (usually around 28 days).

Prepare for Transplanting:

Water trays heavily before transplanting and remove white paper strips.

Bed Preparation:

Ensure loose, moist soil and remove debris.
Mark desired rows for even spacing.

Paperpot Transplanting:

Place a tray in the transplanter and slide the metal ramp under the paper chain.
Position the transplanter at the start of the row and clear a furrow for the first cell.
Pin the first cell and pull the transplanter along the row.
Tear the paper chain at the end of the row and reposition for the next row.

Adjust handle height for comfort.
Apply pressure to the handle to control planting depth.
Adjust or remove rear wheels and fins based on soil conditions.
