I purchased two sumi mark II systems for my 50ft and 25ft tunnels. Normally, when I direct seed early spring crops in the tunnels, I hand-water using a DIY overhead hose system and a hand wand. I do this two to three times a day until I get some good germination going and eventually switch to drip. Each time I hand-water it takes about 25 minutes. Over an hour each day spent standing and watering. These systems are really easy to set up. The kits come with everything needed (except plumbers tape, hint hint..). Took about 5 minutes to get all the parts assembled and the tape unrolled and secured and to connect the water. So, after setup I turned it on and stood back to observe. Immediately I knew I had a winner. The spray pattern does a great job and covers wall to wall inside of the tunnels. All I have to do now is turn the water on and that's it, all of time wasted standing and hand watering is now being utilized for more important tasks. The time savings alone is worth the cost of the system. Really glad I found the sumi system!

Indestructible, don't even bother bringing them inside they are that tough... I will order more as I scale up, these are absolutely perfect, there is no substitute, don't even mess around with other products when this is available.

I was somewhat concerned because of our small well pump but tried it out today and it worked perfectly. I’ve never been completely satisfied with rotating sprinklers. But the sumi system applies a nice gentle and even sprinkle. No moving parts, so I think if you keep the filter clean it will do it’s job for quite some time trouble free.

I’ve used homemade low tunnels and done pipe bending to make them for 5 plus years and I think this system is well worth it. So far now worries with window or needing to weight down ends. Fairly simple to setup and start using.

I haven't hooked up the Sumi soaker yet, but my order arrived on time and was exactly what I expected. I've also really enjoyed the Mondern Grower re-broadcasts of the Urban Farmer Podcast.

Originally, I got these to grow safe, edible grass for my cat. I gave the other two kits to my partner to grow micro greens. It works for both of us! It’s the perfect amount of micro greens for my partner to get through the week and he can grow them staggered to always have some growing for the following week. My cat loves his wheatgrass too.

Planted four 50-foot beds for lettuce and brassicas. Placed wire hoops and draped the netting. Hoping to prevent rabbit and insect damage. Netting is easy to work with.

If you haven't tried them, you should. Sumi Soaker tubes have helped our gardens with more thorough watering and reduced our water consumption by making irrigation more efficient. I highly recommend!
